Abstract:
The study is focuses on the duties and responsibilities performed during internship period in National Bank Limited. The study has been conducted based on primary data. The report describes the knowledge I have learned during internship period. National Bank Limited has its prosperous past, glorious present, prospective future and under processing projects and activities. Established as the first private sector bank fully owned by Bangladeshi entrepreneurs, NBL has
been flourishing as the largest private sector Bank with the passage of time after facing many stresses and strain. The members of the board of directors are creative businessmen and leading industrialists of the country. To keep pace with time and in harmony with national and international economic activities and for rendering all modern services, NBL, as a financial institution, automated all its branches with computer networks in accordance with the competitive commercial demand of time. Moreover, considering its fourth-coming future, the
infrastructure of the Bank has been rearranging. In this report, I have identified lots of problems of NBL bank and the main problems are the banker of NBL bank are not communicate their customer in an appropriate way that why customer fell less interest to carry on their bank services in this bank and if these problem are happened continuously then bank will face trouble in finding customers in future. That why banker of NBL should be communicate with the customer in more appropriate way because customer is important. NBL bank still doing their banking procedure in traditional system but it is more important to implement modern banking process instead of traditional system. In this way they can provide faster service to the customer. NBL should look through the problem I have findings and as well as follow the suggestions I have given then all of the problems may not be get ridden of but it can get reduced to the extreme.
