Abstract:
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) is a government entity under the
Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government and has operated since year 1952. Currently, the DITP and its overseas marketing arms – Thai Trade Centers and Trade Representative Offices in more than 60 major cities around the world work actively with an aim to position Thailand’s trade competitiveness among the top 5 countries in Asia by 2027 under 4 main missions; to
enhance the competitiveness of Thai entrepreneurs in the global context, to develop and expand
overseas market access for Thai products and services, to promote sustainable value creation for Thai products and services delivered internationally and to continuously ensure excellence inservice for all stakeholders. In this report I described the working process of an officer and the
work process of commercial division work in this department. I mention the overview of the
organization, corporate culture, vision, mission, strategic focus, strategies of an international trade promotion, responsibilities and all about Department of International Trade Promotion. Then I discussed about the plan of my internship program. After that I discussed my duties & responsibilities, learning experience and observed attitudes and gained values. I also mentioned
that how to work in a non-profit international organization and what type of work are done every day. I work with commercial affairs team to complete duties. Also I identified some problems and consequences of the problems and give solutions by focusing on a well commercial department.
