Abstract:
Thanks to global technological advancements, information can be shared instantly and
across different people without any communication barriers. The growth of e-commerce
is the only thing that makes this feasible. E-commerce is the exchange of goods, services,
and information between parties via digital platforms. Appropriate legislation is required
to control this e-commerce. The author of this article examines the various forms of
electronic contracts and the conditions that must be met in order for an e-contract to be
enforceable. Every contract in Bangladesh is based on the Contract Act of 1872. Though
none of these laws address the creation of an e-contract, there are numerous problems and
difficulties in regulating e-contracts with their assistance. The author makes an effort to
research and evaluate legal and e-contract issues. Thus, one can learn about the various
legal facets of electronic contracts in Bangladesh through this article.
