Abstract:
This research paper is written on the topic, "The Scope, Opportunity and Challenges of One Person Company (OPC) in the context of Bangladesh: A Legal Analysis".
Bangladesh manages and regulates businesses and business-related matters in accordance with the Companies Act of 1994. The Companies Act of 1994 underwent two revisions after that. One person corporation is incorporated under the terms of the most recent revision to the Companies Act. My major goal in writing this essay was to determine how well a one-person business could be used to draw in foreign direct investment. Researcher began by reviewing the fundamental ideas of the one-person business, along with its traits and pertinent details. Due to time constraints, Researcher completely relied on secondary data to do my dissertation. Since a sole proprietorship and a one-person business essentially share the same characteristics, my main focus was on contrasting the two to show which one is more adaptable. The possibility of foreign direct investment in a one-person business was researcher second point of concentration because FDI is crucial for the growth of an economy. In order to do so, researcher talked about potential routes for FDI to enter our nation and whether we could use those routes to employ FDI in a one-person business. Despite the fact that there is little room for foreign direct investment in one-person businesses, it is still a possibility. All we need to do is take advantage of the chance and inspire new businesspeople to think about.
