Abstract:
The concept of anticipatory bail is an important legal safeguard that allows individuals to seek protection from arrest in cases where there is a likelihood of being falsely implicated in a criminal offense. In Bangladesh, the provision for anticipatory bail is enshrined in the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), which sets out the procedure for granting such relief.
