With a smart meter, you can manage and save energy efficiently, which is a convenient
way to save money. Users are connected to their smart meters through IoT. This allows
the user to adjust the meter as per his needs. Utilities can use smart meters to
communicate information to bill their customers and operate their electric system. In
this system, Meter updates can be seen from anywhere. The meter can be turned off
from anywhere. The amount of electricity used at any given time will be known. The
data will be stored in a database. At regular intervals, the phone will notify the user of
how much money has been spent on the meter. The meter can be recharged by phone.
