INTERNSHIP REPORT Mutual Group (Mutual Food Products Ltd.)

Abstract

'Mutual Food Products Ltd' is Group's core SBU. It is an 'extended supply chain company', offering exclusive services of contract manufacturing, nationwide Logistics and warehousing to retail distribution network for GlaxoSmithKline, Consumer Division, Bangladesh. I have completed my internship program from Mutual Food Products Limited. I have experienced a very friendly and supporting environment in the office which gave me pleasure and satisfaction. I worked in various departments but mostly in Human Resource Department of Mutual Food Products Limited through my internship. I have learned recruitment & selection process, training & development process. There are several academic courses at the university which I found related with the knowledge I gained through my internship such as Introduction to Business, Managerial Communication, and Human Resource Management etc. During my internship in this organization, I’ve gained different skills like work ethics, adaptability skill, Communication skill, responsibility, time management skill etc. In this short period of time, I realized that in Mutual Food Products Limited there are some operational and strategic problems in their operation and I tried to figure it out the impacts and how can those problems be minimized and solved. It was a great experience in Mutual Food Products Limited as an intern and all those experiences, skills and knowledge I gained during this internship brought out my strength and also the area I needed to make up.
