“Development of Education System in Bangladesh: A Study Highlighting the Necessity of Legal Knowledge for Mass Population”

Abstract

This research investigates the development of the education system in Bangladesh, with a particular focus on the necessity of legal knowledge for the mass population. The study examines the current state of the country's education infrastructure, its evolution, and the integration of legal education within it. Legal awareness is crucial for empowering citizens to understand their rights, duties, and responsibilities under the law, yet it remains inadequately addressed in the curriculum. Through an analysis of existing educational policies, curricular frameworks, and societal needs, this research highlights the gap between legal education and the population's access to it. The study also explores the potential benefits of incorporating basic legal knowledge into the broader education system, such as fostering social justice, increasing public awareness, and strengthening democratic participation. Recommendations for policy reforms, curriculum development, and the promotion of legal literacy are provided to enhance the education system and ensure that legal knowledge reaches the masses, contributing to a more informed and engaged society.
