dc.description.abstract There are opportunities and difficulties for Bangladesh's consumer protection laws in the future. Significant challenges still exist, notwithstanding Bangladesh's recent progress with the introduction of the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009, and the creation of the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection. Stepping up government support for redress and enforcement systems. Technology's potential to improve consumer protection regulations. Global collaboration and sharing of optimal methodologies. Among the main obstacles are A lack of knowledge and comprehension of consumer rights, especially in rural areas and among marginalized groups. Insufficient means and ability to enforce laws effectively. Restricted customer access to redress channels. A challenge in keeping up with the quickly changing digital markets. g corporate interests' influence over laws and regulations. The following steps are essential to guaranteeing a better future for consumer protection in Bangladesh: Bolstering campaigns for consumer education and awareness. Increasing the efficacy and capability of enforcement. Streamlining processes and enhancing access to redress channels. Creating frameworks for regulations in developing digital markets. Encouraging accountability and openness in corporate practices. Promoting the active involvement of consumer organizations and civil society. Bangladesh can establish a strong consumer protection system that empowers consumers, promotes fair competition, and aids in sustainable economic growth by tackling these issues and realizing its potential. en_US
