dc.description.abstract Wool is an important natural fibre of animal origin. It has evolved to produce a fabric that has become one of the most effective natural forms of all-weather protection known to man.In Bangladesh the use of wool fibre is very limited in respect of end use. Wool associated products are manufactured with imported wool fibre. In this study after collecting wool fibre from the local source of dhaka the fibres were then carbonized. The carbonizing process was carried out in factory environment. The fibre length , microscopic view were observed in the study . It was evident the carbonized wool were slightly damaged during carbonization. We got the results from the carbonizing wool, microscopic view , fiber length. We found the length of our collected wool test to be 1.8 inch. We can use wool of this length for many purposes. In our test, we did not get the correct length due to some machine fault and man fault. In future anyone want work or research in this topic this paper will help them. en_US
