dc.description.abstract Technology relating to the Internet of things (IoT) is rapidly advancing. IoT enables the collection and exchange of data by a network of physical objects with embedded software, sensors, and network connectivity. Our project aims to create a system that utilizes the concept of IoT. This smart automation system can detect faults in industrial applications and generate alarms or alerts or take intelligent decisions. Using this system, industries will be protected against gas leaks, lack of sufficient lighting, or sudden temperature changes that can lead to fires. System architecture and concept implementation for an industrial safety monitoring scenario are described along with the proposed sensor network for this system. Sensor networks collect temperature, fire, gas leak, and light intensity data, which is transmitted along with a warning or precaution. Arduino Mega Pro Mini is utilized to accomplish this function. To prevent huge losses to the industry in case of an emergency, the industry can take the necessary safety measures. en_US
