“Domestic violence with special reference to the protection of women under Domestic laws in Bangladesh”

Abstract

Abstract This research paper is written on the topic, domestic violence with special reference to the protection of women under domestic laws in Bangladesh. The domestic violence in Bangladesh is a significant issue from both a human rights and development viewpoints. Domestic violence makes huge damages to a women from mentally and physically both. In our society domestic violence is a common and a major problem of whom who are the victims of domestic violence’s almost every day for ultimate reasons from their partners or from their family members. There are domestic laws in our country to protect women from domestic violence but in some cases those existing laws failed to a speedy solution or failed to get the proper justice to a victim women .Most of the uneducated women in our society does not know about their legal rights to fight against domestic violence or they don’t want to file any cases for the reputation in the society that what people will say? However we need to break this fear .we need create awareness in both among the family member and society that a cruel can be a domestic violence for the women and as well as the current legislation should be properly applied in order to blemishes domestic violence from the society.
